Japan Society of Greater Hartford is happy to announce that our Beginners Japanese Summer Class starts on Monday, May 06, 2024.
Three Classes will be offered: Beginners Level (1), Level (2), and Level (3). These
online courses are designed for high school students and adults with no prior exposures to Japanese language.
Level (1) starts on Monday, May 06. Miharu Wismar instructor
How to read and write Hiragana
Give greetings
Use basic everyday phrases
Ask and answer simple questions including self-introduction, favorite foods, and personal interests and hobbies
You will also learn some of Japanese culture throughout the course.
Level (2) starts on Tuesday, May 07. Mas Hongoh instructor
How to read and write Katakana
Extensive Grammar
Practice daily conversation
Ask and answer simple questions including self-introduction, favorite foods,
and personal interests and hobbies
You will also learn some of Japanese culture throughout the course.
Level (3) starts on Wednesday, March 08. Mas Hongoh instructor
Extensive Grammar
Basic Kanji and words with Kanji
Practice daily conversation
You will also learn some of Japanese culture throughout the course.

Also graduated from Tunxis Community College, Farmington CT, for Phlebotomy Technicial
program. Taught Japanese and Math at Japanese School in St. Louis Missouri.

Graduated from the University of Tokyo. Holds Ph. D. and three Master degrees, google
scholar. Worked number of years as principal engineer at Pratt & Whitney. Taught math and
Japanese at the Japanese Language School of Greater Hartford in West Hartford, CT.

Graduated from the University of Tokyo. Holds Ph. D. and three Master degrees, google
